Baby-led weaning

If you need help, break the glass.

Baby-led weaning without guesswork. No more generic plans. Your baby is the one who “chooses” what to eat — and the system learns from them.

Before

Guessing isn't caring.

Every meal becomes a question: can I offer this? Is it time? What if they reject it? What if they react? Deciding alone wears you out more than cooking.

  • Guilt for missing meals during the workday.

  • Generic plans that ignore what YOUR baby has accepted.

  • A new tooth and the whole introduction routine regresses.

  • Wrong textures: food too dry, baby refuses.

  • Nanny or grandma on the routine, no way to know if they're following.

After

You decide what matters. The app handles the rest.

Ready-made plans, allergen window watched, diary logged in seconds. Time left to actually enjoy your baby's meals.

  • The app handles the “what” so you handle being present.

  • Plan learns from every meal you log for YOUR baby.

  • Algorithm adapts to refusals and bad phases without abandoning you.

  • Texture progression per stage — steps back if something isn't sticking.

  • Whole family on the same page: nanny, grandparents, partner — they all see it.

Who's behind this

Built by a family who lived through baby-led weaning.

Aprendendo a Papar wasn't born in a startup meeting room. It was born from the routine of a couple with a baby at home and the input of a doctor in the family. We built what we wished we had when we started — that's it.

F

Fernando Costa

Co-founder · Engineering

Father. Wrote every line of code thinking about how he wanted to be helped at 6pm on an exhausting day, with no energy to think about a meal plan.

I

Isabel Cristina

Co-founder · Product

Mother. Decides what makes it into the app based on what actually matters in a mother's day-to-day — and what's just product noise.

T

Dr. Thaís Augusta

Co-founder · Clinical content

Physician, Isabel's cousin — and a mom too. Her daughter is close in age to Isabel's baby; she lives the same routine of working out of the house all day, splitting care between her partner and the nanny. Reviews guidelines, validates allergen safety, and makes sure every app recommendation aligns with current scientific literature.

How it works

Three things that change your routine

Plans that learn

The app builds the whole week respecting age, your baby's real acceptance, and curated pairings. You just decide what to adjust.

Diary with charts

Log each meal in 2 taps. See in graphs what's being accepted, what needs repeating, and how taste is evolving.

Allergen safety

3-to-7-day window per allergen (you choose). The app reserves the slot, reminds the follow-up, and blocks if a reaction happens.

What it's built on

Built on the best available evidence.

We don't invent guidelines — we follow the ones the Brazilian and international medical community has already established. Every recommendation in the app can be traced back to one of these 4 sources.

Medical society · Brazil

SBP

Brazilian Society of Pediatrics. Official guidelines for food introduction, age ranges, and developmental milestones. Reference document used by pediatricians in Brazil.

Medical society · Brazil

ASBAI

Brazilian Association of Allergy and Immunology. Allergen introduction protocol with a monitoring window — the basis of our allergen system.

Clinical trial · UK

LEAP Study

Learning Early About Peanut Allergy. Showed that early peanut introduction REDUCES allergy risk by up to 80%. Changed global guidelines on allergens.

Clinical trial · UK

EAT Study

Enquiring About Tolerance. Extended LEAP's conclusions to egg, milk, fish, sesame, and wheat. Supports the recommendation to introduce all 9 allergens early.

Common questions

Questions we usually get.

Yes. Every recommendation in the app — minimum age per food, order of allergen introduction, texture progression — comes from SBP and ASBAI guidelines, reviewed by Dr. Thaís Augusta, our co-founder physician. If a food isn't safe for your baby's stage yet, the app simply doesn't offer it. If a reaction is logged in the diary, the algorithm blocks and alerts you.

We use a specialized algorithm, built from scratch just for baby food introduction — not a generic AI that “guesses” answers. Every recommendation follows clear rules from pediatric guidelines (minimum age, allergen order, texture progression), and we can explain why each food is on the plan. The part that learns, learns from YOUR baby: what they love shows up more, what they rejected comes back gently in another preparation, and the allergen window is always respected. It's like having someone who knows the subject — and knows your baby — building the week's plan.

Both. You pick the prep that matches your baby's stage and your routine. The app offers the same food in different textures depending on the stage: fork-mashed at 6 months, finely chopped at 8, larger pieces at 12. If your baby does BLW, we show the safe cut. If they eat purees, we show the consistency. Never forces a side.

On initial setup you flag the restriction (e.g., cow's milk allergy) and the app removes that food and its derivatives from ALL meals — no exception. The other 8 allergens follow the standard introduction protocol with a monitoring window.

Yes. Monthly subscription, no lock-in. Cancel right in the Hotmart dashboard in 2 clicks — you keep using until the end of the already-paid cycle, then it ends. We don't charge cancellation fees and don't make it hard to leave.

No. The "Alergênicos sem pânico" ebook is a separate, optional product. Anyone subscribed to Pro or Gourmet gets the ebook as a bonus, free. If you only want the ebook (without the app), you can buy it separately.

Yes, both plans support more than one baby. Pro allows up to 3 babies on the same account and Gourmet up to 4 — useful for families with twins, close-aged siblings, or for grandparents/nannies tracking grandkids. Each baby has their own history, inferred palate, and personalized meal plan.

Yes. Beyond you, you can invite up to 3 people on Pro and up to 4 on Gourmet — the other parent, the grandma who helps with meals, the nanny who plates them. Each invitee signs in with their own account and sees the same baby history in real time. All on a single subscription — no need to pay separately for each caregiver.

To wrap up

Your baby's first meal is unique.

You don't need to become a nutritionist to handle it. Let the app take care of the plan, what to repeat, what to wait on — you take care of what matters: being there.
